With your help, we provide the capital, materials, accessible equipment and resources to achieve one-time projects that will significantly assist children with disabilities and their families.

It’s a simple plan, really; we seek to improve the lives of those living with disabilities, one home at a time. We are friends, relatives and neighbors who have joined together to Make Life Accessible for children with disabilities and their families

Please be a part of our mission. Your donation, regardless of size, will have a direct and positive impact in the lives of those families facing extraordinary personal challenges. Our Inspiration

The Gilmore family faces daily challenges that few of us can imagine.  Lilias Gilmore suffers from Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS), a severe epilepsy syndrome that develops in young children and often leads to lifelong disability.

The challenges the Gilmores face often go unnoticed as John and Natalie, Lili’s parents, exhibit grace and presence meeting Lili’s needs each day. They are devoted parents, friends, and family members, and an inspiration to all who know them. In their daily lives they show amazing courage, patience, love, and devotion to their daughter, Lili.

In recognition of the Gilmores’ exceptional courage, a small group of friends began to raise funds and reach out to local businesses to help the Gilmores realize a very special accommodation to their home, the installation of a specially designed elevator.  As Lili ages, this equipment is increasingly essential to ensure Lili’s independent mobility and access to her entire home.

Thanks to the generosity of people like you, and with of assistance of contractors, building suppliers and others, Lili’s Lift continues to assist families in helping them meet the needs of their family and making lives more accessible.

Who We Are

Our organization is inspired by Lilias Gilmore, who was diagnosed with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS) at the age of 3.  While the prognosis for individuals with LGS varies, there is no cure for the disorder and complete recovery is extremely rare. LGS has has drastically impeded Lili’s cognitive and physical development.

Founded in February 2007, Lili’s Lift is a not-for-profit organization that seeks to empower and assist children with disabilities (as well as their families, friends, and communities) through education, advocacy, and volunteer opportunities.

Thanks to the generosity of people like you, and with of assistance of contractors, building suppliers and others, Lili’s Lift continues to assist families in helping them meet the needs of their family and making lives more accessible.

It’s a simple plan, we seek to improve the lives of those living with disabilities, one family at a time. We are friends, relatives and neighbors who join together to make life accessible for children with disabilities and their families.
